The Clubs

The suit of Clubs traditionally represents agriculture and achievements through work. We consider that symbolism as well as a play on the word ‘club.” Within LGBTQ+ culture, bars and nightclubs have historically served as a safe haven. As other spaces emerge for queer folks to feel safe, we aim to appreciate what “clubs” can bring- community, activism, and even political change!
